Yuki Dake Lodge is a newly renovated lodge in Myoko Kogen, it is situated on the main street of Akakura Onsen, a 300-meter walk to the lifts. It has 24 rooms available from twin/triple/quad and dorm rooms and offers daily breakfast. It has its own bar, a games room and with knowledgeable staff to help you with all your needs, it will be the perfect base for your Myoko holiday.
Ikigai is a bed and breakfast lodge located right across from the Akakura Kanko lift station. Their staff will then pick you up and bring you to Ikigai, making the transition easy and convenient. Ikigai Lodge has a variety of rooming options including a 2-bedroom Japanese style suite, and a mix of studios and suites that offer flexible bedding configurations to support travellers of all kinds. Ikigai lodge also features a communal lounge and gym facilities.
Hotel Central is the perfect budget option in Myoko Kogen with comfortable rooms and great location. There are two room types available, a combination Japanese and Western style room or Western twin share rooms. The combination rooms are large with a tatami mat area and also two Western style beds, with a toilet and basin. The Western style rooms feature an ensuite however do not have the additional tatami mat space. The hotel is only a 1 minute walk to the nearest ski slope (Akakura Kanko) and 5 minute walk to the heart of the village. The hotel also boasts a restaurant, in house natural hot spring onsen, ski storage and dry room.
Located near the base of the Akakura Onsen ski and snowboard resort in Myoko, Kougakuro is a Japanese-style ryokan offering traditional hot springs and a Japanese-style experience. The slopes are a 3 minute walk away, and there is a cosy bar with a fireplace for when you return after a day on the mountain. There is wireless internet available throughout the hotel, and other shops and restaurants in the Akakura Onsen area are nearby. The hotel is an amazing 115 years old, and has stunning views out to Sado Island as well and the surrounding mountains.
Oyado Furuya Ryokan is, without a doubt, the most luxurious, traditional Ryokan in the heart of Akakura Onsen village. Oyado Furuya has an excellent restaurant that serves up breakfast (included) and traditional Japanese meals in the evening. The restaurant is a beautiful, peaceful setting with each room having its own separate dining area. The Oyado has some of the nicest onsen facilities in Myoko, including two unique indoor baths.
